The University of Cologne Teacher Education Hub is the joint organisation for interdisciplinary cooperation at the University of Cologne. All stakeholders and institutions actively work to further develop research-based and future-oriented teacher education.

Scientific management board
The scientific management board consists of four Faculty representatives and the managing director of the Center for Teacher Education (ZfL).
It is the central control unit for teacher education in Cologne and develops concrete concepts and prepares action items.

Council
The Council brings together representatives from all status groups and areas of teacher education. It bears the overall responsibility for teacher education and issues directional decisions.

We work together with all stakeholders to revalue and strengthen teacher education, for teacher education constitutes the backbone of society.
Membership & participation
Become a member and play an active role in shaping the platform. Get involved by becoming a designated member of the Council or in topic-related working groups, where we work together on the further development of teacher education.
All students of the teacher education degree programmes are automatic members of the platform.
If you are involved in teacher education at the university, the cooperating universities, teaching and academic work, or technology and administration work, you are welcome to join the platform.
