Disciplinary and interdisciplinary strength

The teacher education degree programme comprises three disciplines: subject-specific knowledge, subject-specific teaching methodology and educational science. You will study these subjects while remaining at the cutting edge of research. This multidisciplinary approach will be very beneficial to you in your work.

As a teacher, it is your job to creatively combine subject-specific and pedagogical issues. During your studies, you will therefore not only acquire disciplinary expertise; you will also learn to profitably combine the contents in an interdisciplinary way.

This is essential for coping with the increasingly complex tasks of the future.
